A 19th century Mahdist Sudanese kaskara broadsword from the eastern Sahel region, double edged 90cm blade with 2 short and one long fuller either side and terminating in a spear point, iron cross-guard, the hilt rebound with red cord, the pommel covered with leather. Overall 105cm.   #10249
