LATE 19TH CENTURY SCOTTISH HIGHLAND DIRK #9922
A late 19th century Provincial Scottish Highland Dirk, the 26 cm single edged blade, with a double edged point, barley twist back edge and 2 fullers either side, the blade stamped HODGE INVERNESS, (some staining) the bogwood hilt carved with the Turks Head Knot and set with silver studs all around and with silver mounts top and bottom, contained in a metal, Japanned, black lacquer sheath with 4 silver coloured mounts, the 2 center mounts containg the bi-knife and fork, both en-suite to the hilt, the bi-knife blade stamped OF THE BEST QUALITY, overall 40cm. The mounts possibly silver plated. #9922nro
