EXTREMELY RARE GEORGIAN SCOTTISH HIGHLAND DIRK #9834

An extremely rare early 19th century Georgian Scottish Highland Dirk, circa 1830, the 14 inch blade double edged at the spearpoint, double fuller either side, both fullers pierced with holes, the back edge diamond cut and pierced with 8 holes, the carved wooden hilt with Turk knot design, gilt mounts, the top mount with a sunburst design and set with one large diamond surrounded by 23 smaller foil backed diamonds, contained in the original sewn leather scabbard with 4 gilt mounts, 2 containing the customary knife and fork, the carved handles en-suite, the knife with the remains of the cutlers mark, (see photo), the back of the scabbard with the remains of the leather carrying strap.
