A Victorian 19th century steel carving knife, 9 inch blade stamped with the makers logo, a feather within an oval surrounded by the wording "THE PEN WILL SUPERSEDE THE SWORD"  the makers name beneath, JOHN BENSON & Co, staghorn handle with a steel cap, overall 15 inches.     #9758lo

I can find no trace of this maker or his logo
