A Napoleonic period AN XI French Infantry Hussars Sabre or Briquet, 1813-1852 model, cast brass hilt. The 3 inch slightly curved hollow ground blade with a small fuller either side along the top edge. No scabbard. Overall 28 inches. #9176el

This was the kind of sword favoured by Napoleon's troops for Sabrage. (The art of removing the top of a Champagne bottle with the back edge of the sword)
