19th CENTURY DAGGER TETELA TRIBE #9116

A knife-dagger from the Tetela-Nkutshu tribes of the late Belgium Congo, double edged 8 inch blade with incised line decoration each side and a central raised rib either side and punched with 4 holes, the carved wooden hilt wrapped with some copper wire copper with a copper loop at the top. Overall 12½ inches   #9114ll
