18thc TIBETAN/HIMALAYAN FLINT POUCH AND STRIKER #8500

A late 18th century Himalayan or Tibetan flint pouch and striker "icag" of leather and iron, the front decorated with repousse work in silver and set with 3 corals and with a pouch for containing the flints tinder and used for striking flints against the bottom metal striker plate to make fire. The pouch still contains some original tinder.  Overall 4½ by 3 inches. #8500to
