A late 19th century African Congo executioners sickle sword from the Ngala, Ngombe or Doko tribes also used as a symbol for a chieftain, 18 inch (47cm) sickle shaped blade sharpened on the outer edge, covered all over with incised decoration, carved wooden handle set with furniture tacks, some loss. Overall 26 inches (66cm). Hilt bound with iron strapping.blade stained and small area of pitting #10230lo
