An early 19th century Greek or Ottoman brass Palaska or cartridge box, the brass box with an attached decorative disc attached to the front by 3 copper pins and set with a green stone, the front with engraved and punched decoration, plain sides and a raised comb on the hinged lid, the rear has a belt attachment. These boxes contained ready made paper covered ball and powder cartridges. Overall approx. 10cm by 12cm.     #10167ry
